Amblyscirtes aesculapius is resident in the southeastern United States (Scott 1986). Habitats are moist woods. Host plant is the grass species Arundinaria tecta. There are multiple flights between June 1- early July and Aug 15-Sept. 15 in the northern part of their range, and in the south multiple flights between Feb. 1-Sept. 30, at least (Scott 1986).Trusted
