Names and Taxonomy
Taxonomy
Comments: Described by Porsild (1951). Maintained as a species by Welsh (1967) who was none the less "tempted to reduce Oxytropis huddelsonii to some infraspecific category in O. NIGRESCENS." It can be difficult to distinguish these species in flower, but they can be separated by using several characters in combination, especially the glabrous fruit of O. HUDDELSONII (Welsh 1967).
