Range Description

J. filiformis has a more or less pan-boreal distribution, from Scandinavia south to the Iberian Peninsula and east through the Balkans, Russia and the Caucasus to China and Japan. In North America it occurs from Alaska to Greenland and south into southern Canada (The Board of Trustees of the Royal Botanic Garden, Kew 2013).
