One specimen of Nemichthys ZBK was also identified for this region during the autumn and it was collected near the Vitória-Trindade ridge (Figure 18). As it was a little damaged it was not possible to count its myomeres. The filiform tail was the character used to distinguish this larva from the other nemichthyid. Study Material: DZUFRJ 2848; one specimen; 138.0 mm SL.
