Polistes fuscatus (Northern Paper Wasp) is a species of Hymenoptera in the family Eumenidae. They are native to The Nearctic and The Neotropics. They visit flowers of goldenrod, mountainmint, spotted beebalm, and White Melilot. They are diurnal omnivores. Individuals can grow to 18 mm. They have parental care (cooperative breeding and female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.
