Description

Colonies are massive, either flat or dome-shaped. Corallites are monocentric and plocoid. Daughter corallites are predominantly formed by extratentacular budding, that is budding from the wall of parent corallites. Some intracentacular budding may also occur (Veron, 1986 <57>).
