Range Description
Benthocometes robustus has been found in the tropical west Atlantic, around northwest Africa, the western Mediterranean Sea, Balearic Sea, southern Sardinia, the Adriatic, eastern Ionian Sea, and off Cyprus. In 1994 this species was also described from southern Brazil (Haimovici et al. 1994).
