Range Description

C. k. orientalis is found in Kazakhstan, in the Chu River from the lower reaches to the region of Frunze.

C. k. kuschakewitschi is found in the Syr Darya (up to Kara Darya at Balykchi) and Amu Darya (upto Panj), and Zeravshan rivers, in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan (Bogutskaya, pers. comm.), Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
