Range Description

Scarus schlegeli is found in the Indo-central Pacific, around the Cocos and Christmas Island in the eastern Indian Ocean, from the Moluccas to the Tuamoto and Austral islands, north to the Ryukyu Islands, and south to Shark Bay and the southern Great Barrier Reef, Australia. It is also known from Rapa, French Polynesia.
