Range Description

Pseudohemiculter hainanensis has an East Asia distribution. It is known from the middle reaches of Yangtze (Changjiang) River and its tributary, the Yuanjiang River; the Pearl River (Zhujiang) basin, the Hainan Island in China (Luo and Chen 1998) and from creeks and rivers in the mountainous region of northern Viet Nam Viet Nam (Mai 1985; Kottelat 2001, Nguyen and Ngo 2001).
