Rhopalomeniidae Salvini-Plawen, 1978. Zoologica, 44 (128): 158.



Thick cuticle, with epidermal papillae. Sclerites acicular in various layers; neither hook-shaped elements, nor dorso-pharyngeal papilla gland, nor respiratory organs. Radula distichous or missing. Foregut glandular organs of ducts with subepithelially arranged gland cells (type A) and/or with epithelial glands (type C) with outleading duct.”
