Range Description

It occurs in India (Assam, Manipur in Brahmaputra basin, Sikkim, West Bengal) and Bangladesh (Vishwanath and Kosygin 2001). It is also reported from Nepal (M. Arunachalam pers. comm.). The species reported from Myanmar is known to be P. burtoni (Vishwanath and Kosygin 2001).
