Range Description

This demersal species is common across western Africa and the upper Nile.

Northeast Africa: It is present in the upper White Nile, Sudan, as well as the Baro and Omo basins, Ethiopia.

Western Africa: This species is common in West Africa, from the Chad basin to Lake Débo in the Central Niger delta.
