Gymnotichthys hildae is a species of characin endemic to the Orinoco River basin in Venezuela.  It is the only member of its genus. This species is known to be found in fresh water in benthopelagic environments, in a tropical climate. This species can reach the average length of 7 cm (2.7 in).
