Gargariscus prionocephalus, the Jaggedhead gurnard, is a species of armored searobin native to the eastern Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean. This species is a deep water species found down to a depth of 304 metres (997 ft) on the continental shelf. This species grows to a length of 30 centimetres (12 in) TL. This species is the only known member of its genus.
