Inhabit shallow coastal waters and sometimes estuaries (Ref. 12693). Possibly enter freshwater in some countries (Ref. 12693). Feed mainly on invertebrates and small fishes. Caught mainly with bamboo traps and set bagnets. Marketed mostly fresh (Ref. 3290).
