Agathymus

Agathymus is a genus of skippers in the family Hesperiidae. They are found in North American deserts and in Mexico. The larvae bore in the stems of Agave spp.Placed now in a disputed subfamily Megathyminae they have been considered sufficiently distinct to be in their own family Megathymidae along with Megathymus and Stallingsia.
