Introduction

This genus of small, rapid fliers occurs from India to New Guinea. THe phylogeneetic analysis of Fric et al. (2004) suggests that the genus Mynes is embedded within a paraphyletic Symbrenthia as sister taxon to the hypselis - sinoides clade.
