North American Ecology (US and Canada)

Adopaeoides prittwitzi is resident to southern Arizona and ranges south to Guerrero, Mexico with a small separate population in western Texas (Scott 1986). Habitats are springs in desert grassland and open woodland. There are several flights each year with the approximate flight times May 1-June 31 and Sept.1-Sept. 30 (Scott 1986).
