North American Ecology (US and Canada)

Resident in southern Arizona (Scott 1986). Habitats are CONIFEROUS FORESTS IN DESERT MOUNTAINS. Host plants are known only from one tree, Ponderosa Pine (Pinus ponderosa). There are two flights each year, an uncommon partial flight with the approximate time JUN-JUL and the second flight occurs SEP-NOV (Scott 1986).
