Bernard Picton commented on "Thuiaria articulata":
@Carrie Seltzer: Why have you untrusted my photograph of Thuiaria articulata? This is a valid animal name. See http://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=117932 You may not be aware of the fact that the botanical code of nomenclature is not co-ordinated with the zoological code and some animals have the same generic names as some plants. Please don't mark this name and photograph as misleading or hide it. Salacia is also a valid animal name http://www.marinespecies.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=117231 and has been used for this species. Try a google search for Halopteris - you will find seaweeds and hydroids - both have the same generic name and both are valid. This may be a fault in EOL if it can't cope with this. Bernard Picton
