North American Ecology (US and Canada)Resident in the mountain west in North America (Scott 1986). Habitats are ALPINE TUNDRA AND SUBALPINE MEADOWS. Host plants are usually herbaceous with hosts largely restricted to a few species in one family, Leguminosae. Eggs are laid on the host plant singly.
