North American Ecology (US and Canada)

Small resident populations in south Florida and south Texas, otherwise migratory (Scott 1986). Habitats are SUBTROPICAL AND DESERT WOODLAND. Host plants are usually herbaceous with most known hosts from Leguminosae. There are multiple flights year-round with strays north in the summer (Scott 1986).
