North American Ecology (US and Canada)

Resident in northern North America (Scott 1986). Habitats are TAIGA OPENINGS, TUNDRA, BOGGY AREAS. Known host plants are a few shrub species from genus VACCINIUM (Ericaceae). Individuals overwinter as third instar larvae. There is one flight each year with the approximate flight time JUN15-AUG1 (Scott 1986).
