North American Ecology (US and Canada)

Eunica tatila is resident to North America only at the very southern tip of Florida, and is migratory into Texas from Mexico and (rarely) as far north as Kansas. It ranges south to Argentina, the Bahamas and the Greater Antilles (Scott 1986). Habitats are subtropical woodlands and hammocks. There are multiple flights all year in s. Fla. (Scott 1986).
