T. bermudianus (=bermudiana): EXTINCT This species is believed to be extinct; living representatives have not been seen nor heard since the 1980's (last audal record was in reported to be in 1990). Nearest extant relative is Tibicen lyricen. The lyric cicada is found across the eastern US and is similar in form and call (tymbalizations).
