Texola elada is resident from southern Arizona, New Mexico and Texas south to Oaxaca Mexico (Scott 1986). Habitats are desert scrub and open thorn forest. Host plants are herbaceous and largely restricted to one family, Compositae. There are multiple flights each year with the approximate flight time at least April 1-Oct. 31 (Scott 1986).Trusted
