    Gigantoproductus shells are found at several localities in Nova Scotia, Canada. They are restricted to the Green Oaks Formation (Windsor Group, Visean, range, Late Asbian-Brigantian) and are found in association with colonial corals (Lithostrotion sp.and Lonsdaleia sp.), solitary corals (Dibunophyllum), cephalopods and Semiplanus latissimus.
