Justification
This species is assessed as Vulnerable as it has a tiny range (it is restricted to two uninhabited islets with a total area of c.2km2). While the islets it is found on are isolated and have no significant human impacts at present, the species is likely to rapidly decline with the introduction of predators (such as cats) or through any degradation of habitat.

Threats
Major Threats
There are no threats known to affect the species at present, but it would be highly vulnerable to introduced predators (e.g. cats), or to the introduction of goats which would severely overgraze the species' habitat.

Conservation Actions
No specific conservation measures are in place. It is recommended that restrictions are placed on visiting the islands, to prevent the introduction of new species that might prey upon P. levendis or destroy its habitat.
