Range Description

Occurs in the Alps from French Alps to Hohe Tauern in Austria and Dolomites in Italy. It is only found in the southern part of the Alps in Switzerland, it is also present in central Italy and is very rarely in Bulgaria (Stara Mountains.) and Serbia. Found at altitudes between 900-2,200 m. This is a European endemic species.
