Range Description

Amphimelania holandrii occurs predominantly in the river catchments of the Sava River and the lower part of the Danube River Basin. It is found in Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Macedonia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Greece (mainland). The presence in the former country of Yugoslavia (Bank et al. 2006) suggests it may be present in other countries of former Yugoslavia.
