Range Description

The species has been recorded from Uganda and north Zambia to Nigeria.

In central Africa, it has been recorded from Democratic Republic of Congo (e.g., as A. wittei from Mwene Ditu and Elisabethville) and Cameroon.

In eastern Africa, it has been recorded from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi and Burundi: Budongo Forest and forests around Kampala (Uganda).

In southern Africa, this is known from two collections in north-west Zambia.

In western Africa, it is only known from mount Kupe in Cameroon and south east Nigeria.
