Range Description

Endemic to southern China. Described from single male from 'Chengtu' (Chengdu), Sichuan.

Wilson (2005) also recorded Boyeria sinensis (not belonging to the 'Boyeria sinensis' taxon described by Asahina, 1978) from three sites in Guangxi at Maoershan, Dayaoshan and Dapingshan and (Fellowes et al. 2003) recorded Boyeria sinensis (not belonging to the 'Boyeria sinensis' taxon described by Asahina 1978) from four sites in Guangdong, including three at Nanling, north Guangdong and one at Shimentai, central Guangdong. (Wilson and Xu in prep.) has shown these records from Guangxi and Guangdong should be attributed to Boyeria karube Yokei, 2002.
