Range Description

Tetracanthagyna brunnea is known from Java (Lieftinck 1934) Sabah and Sarawak (e.g. Laidlaw 1920, Lieftinck 1954), peninsular Malaysia (e.g. Laidlaw 1931, Orr 2005), southern Thailand (e.g. Lieftinck 1954, Asahina 1986, Hmlinen and Pinratana 1999) and Palawan in the Philippines (Hmlinen and Mller 1997). It is likely to occur in Brunei, Sumatra and Kalimantan and should be looked for in these places.
