Range Description

This species ranges from southwestern Cameroon to eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, and south to northern Angola. It also occurs on the island of Bioko (Equatorial Guinea). Records from northern and northeastern Democratic Republic of Congo, up to the border with Uganda, probably refer to Xenopus pygmaeus. Records from central and southern Angola (Ruas 1996) require confirmation.
