Distribution: SE Mexico (Yucatan peninsula); Belize, Colombia (Antioquia, Chocó), Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico (Campeche, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potosi, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Yucatán), Nicaragua, Panama  cataspila: Mexico (Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi, Verzcruz, Hidalgo [HR 35: 81]).  grayi: SW Mexico (Isthmus of Tehuantepec, Chiapas, Oaxaca) through W Guatemala, El Salvador.  iversoni: Mexico (N Yucatan);
Type locality: A Cenote on the north side of the highway, 13.8 km east of Buctzotz, Yucatán, Mexico.  panamensis: Panama;
