The Sonoran pronghorn is a mammal that lives in the Sonoran Desert, specifically in the wide open areas of southern Arizona and other various areas of the Sonoran Desert. It is the second fastest land mammal in the world, behind the cheetah. It is the fastest land mammal in North America. The Sonoran pronghorn also uses its eyesight to great effect, with the ability to see movement up to 6.4 kilometers away. The Sonoran pronghorn’s population is very low, with only about 750 individuals currently in existence.
