Range Description

Opuntia austrina is endemic to Florida, USA. It occurs throughout a wide range of elevations, from close to sea level to one of the highest places in Florida that is at least 24 m above sea level. The extent of occurrence of this species is approximately 34,000 km2. It is present in 8-12 locations.
