Range Description

Occurs in the lower Río Nazas and the Bolsón de Mapimí in the Chihuahuan Desert of southern Chihuahua, western Coahuila, and eastern Durango, Mexico (Berry and Berry 1984, Iverson 1992, Serb et al. 2001). The species has only been split out since 2001, and no research has been done on this former subspecies.
