Range Description

This species of cone snail is endemic to the waters off Somalia from Berbera in the Gulf of Aden to Hobyo in the Arabian Sea (Röckel et al. 1995), a coastal distance of approx 2,300 km. There are no bathymetric data for this species, but it is known to occur in deep water (Röckel et al. 1995) to 100 - 120 m (G. Raybaudi pers. comm. October 2011).
