Range Description

This species occurs in the southern Red Sea, western Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman. Conus biraghii biraghii is found off the coast of Somalia from Mogadishu to Obya; Conus biraghii congruens is found in the Djibouti area and to Cape Guardafui; and Conus biraghii omanensis is known from Oman, from Masirah Is. to Kuria Muria Is. (Röckel et al. 1995).

The EOO, AOO and number of locations for the species overall exceed the thresholds for criteria B1 and B2.
