Body. Length 2.7-3.2 mm.
Head. Crown fore margin strongly produced and angulate medially.
Wings. Forewing outer apical cell about 2X as long as wide.
Abdomen. 2S abdominal apodemes small, narrow, extended dorsomesad.
Male Genitalia. Pygofer lobe rounded. Pygofer dorsal appendage with distinct basal suture, but not movably articulated, bifurcate far from base, not extended to pygofer apex, straight or very slightly curved in dorsal view, curved upward in lateral view. Second point of style apex very short, toothlike, or absent. Third point elongate, not longer than half distance between other two points. Angle between basal and third points about 90°. Aedeagus with preatrium longer than shaft. Aedeagal shaft straight in lateral view, broad in lateral view, round in crossection, without dorsal carina or distal lobe. Aedeagus ventral processes placed basally, well separated from shaft, longer than shaft, divergent at base, thence parallel. Aedeagus distal processes absent.
Coloration. Dorsum reddish or brown. Color pattern red or orange or brown. Vertex mostly dark or with small pale spots. Vertex midline pale. Anteclypeus brown or black. Pronotum almost entirely dark. Mesonotum entirely dark, apex concolorous with rest of mesonotum. Thoracic venter with dark mesosternum, remainder pale. Forewings without oblique vittae, without crossbands. Clavus largely or entirely bright red or brown. Forewings with dark spot on costal margin. Forewing apical cell II with distal spot, inner apical cell without brown spot.
