Chilobrachys hardwicki is endemic to eastern India, this species is found in Shahjahanpur in the north and Bilaspur in the south at an altitude of less than 500 m. The extent of occurrence encompassing known and inferred distribution is around 125,000 km², while the area of occupancy is more than 20,000 km².
