Range Description

This species occurs in the eastern Andean highlands of south central Bolivia (see Anderson and Olds, 1989) and northwest Argentina (Jujuy, Salta, Catamarca, and Tucumán Provinces; see Ortiz et al., 2000) (Musser and Carleton, 2005). It has an elevational range of about 2,000 to 4,000 m in Bolivia, being found down to 1,500 m in Argentina.
