Range Description

The distribution of Gerbillus agag is very unclear. Populations of Gerbillus agag have been reported from Mali, Nigeria, and Niger to Chad, Sudan and Kenya (Musser and Carleton 2005); however, because of considerable taxonomic confusion, it is uncertain as to which of these populations should be allocated to Gerbillus agag. The type locality is Agageh Wells, Kordofan, Sudan (not mapped here).
