Range Description

This species is widely distributed through the Central Cordillera of the island of New Guinea (Indonesia and Papua New Guinea), from the Weyland Range in the west to Mount Dayman in the east. It is also present on the Huon Peninsula (Flannery 1995). It has been recorded from 850 to at least 3,000 m asl.
