Range Description

This taxon has been recorded from three localities along the Central Cordillera of the island of New Guinea (Indonesia and Papua New Guinea). It has been recorded from Mount Wilhelmina, Papua Province, Indonesia and from the Tifalmin valley in Sandaun Province, Papua New Guinea. Populations at each of the three known sites are considered to represent separate unpublished species (K. Helgen pers. comm.). It has been recorded from between 1,800 and 2,800 m asl.
