Range Description

The range of this largely South Asian species is difficult to define, as it is often confused with Mus booduga. It is reported from Pakistan, India, southern Nepal and Bangladesh (Comilla District, Chittagong Province); with an introduced population present in a small area of Medan, northern Sumatra, Indonesia.
