Range Description

This species is endemic to the island of New Guinea (Indonesia and Papua New Guinea), where it is widespread along the Central Cordillera, Huon Peninsula, and the Torricelli Mountains (Flannery 1995; Menzies 1996). It has an altitudinal range of 900 to 3,000 m asl.
