Range Description

This species is endemic to Papua New Guinea, where it is known from the lowlands in the south-eastern and north-eastern portions of the country. It has an altitudinal range of sea level to 700 m asl.

There is a record from Yapen Island and two more from Papua Province, Indonesia (Flannery 1995a,b), but these are not mapped here and require further examination (Musser and Carleton 2005).
